Kiddy Toast!

KIDDY TOAST….I really don’t know what else to call these. Since its just the two of us adults here, I never get to cook any kids delight. But these simple toast made a quick lunch for me today. There is really nothing to this recipe just basic, the toppings, the seasonings even the type of bread are all your choice you can just play around with these. Just go minimum on the chilli flakes when serving kids. As for the cheese I had to hold my nerve from grating too much, so you won’t find much cheese in the picture.

You Will Need:

3 Milk Bread Slices
Tomato Ketchup

For the Topping:

3 tbsp of Sweet Corn Kernels
1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
1/2 Bell Pepper / Capsicum Finely Chopped (Red, Green, Yellow anything)
Generous amount of grated Cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, Processed, anything)

For the Seasoning:

Salt
Pizza Seasoning
Chilli Flakes

The Cooking:

Mix all the ingredients for the topping in a bowl and keep aside.

Spread a thin layer of ketchup on one side of the bread slice, followed by the the topping. Place generous heaping of cheese and season with salt, pizza seasoning and chilli flakes.

Heat a tawa on medium high heat and place the bread slices. Cover and let it toast till the cheese has melted.

Alternatively you can also place these on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 100 degrees till the cheese has melted.

Serve hot with Ketchup.
Happy Toasting!
